Freelance Web design and development
Fast Grow Hydroponics
South Africa
I landed this gig at a networking brunch, the power of being in the right place at the right time. Fast Grow had a website, but it wasn’t e-commerce ready. The team wanted a full revamp, something that could actually convert visitors into buyers. I got to work designing a sleek, functional e-commerce platform that now holds over 100 products. From streamlining the user journey to integrating secure payment gateways, the goal was to make every step from browsing to checkout feel effortless.
I’m still involved with the site’s ongoing maintenance, updates, and improvements. It’s been rewarding to see something I built directly contribute to real business growth.

Freelance Content Writer
Athena Digital Agency
Texas, USA
Athena Digital marked the beginning of a very intentional chapter in my growth as a content writer. I had the privilege of working under Beverly, who didn’t just assign work, she mentored me. From the start, she recognized my potential and helped refine it. With her guidance, I sharpened my ability to write on-brand content, create visuals that aligned with brand identity, and carry out research that actually informs strategy.
Athena Digital’s mission is to help brands connect meaningfully with their audiences. Being part of that purpose helped me become more confident, strategic, and adaptable in my writing. I’m still signed with them under a freelance contract.

Social Media Manager / Graphic Designer
Female Founders Initiative - Global
South Africa | UAE
Female Founders Initiative – Global (formerly FFI-MEA) is a registered nonprofit organization focused on women’s economic empowerment. Its mission is to give female business leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs access to international markets and the tools needed to compete fairly. It’s a transformative community that helps women and girls move from having limited voice and opportunity to building the skills, resources, and confidence needed to grow.
Joining Female Founders felt like walking into a room full of sisters I hadn’t met yet. From the start, the energy was warm, driven, and incredibly empowering. A special shoutout to President Rosheen, who supported me through those early days. Within just a few weeks, I was already helping plan our third-anniversary event in South Africa.
In my role, I managed social media platforms, built content calendars, created promotional designs, and helped ensure everything reflected our brand's tone and message. But the experience gave me more than just skills. I saw the real power of inclusive leadership, learned how mentorship can shape confidence, and understood how shared purpose brings people together.
Being part of this organization showed me what it means to combine purpose with action. I walked away with sharper communication skills, more creative agility, and a deeper belief in what’s possible when people come together to build something meaningful.
2022
Marketing and Customer Service Consultant
Thang Long Investment Group (TIG) - Dubai
UAE
Dubai was a whirlwind. At TLIG, I stepped into a fast-paced role that mixed marketing strategy with real-time customer engagement. I supported campaigns designed to boost brand awareness and helped bridge the gap between the company and its growing client base.
The role taught me how to spot market trends, anticipate customer needs, and think like a strategist. It was also where I learned the importance of alignment — making sure internal efforts matched the external brand promise. The insights I gained here were practical, sharp, and shaped how I approach client communications today.
2021
Medical Administrator
Funda Medical
SOUTH AFRICA
Funda Medical was a challenge I took on intentionally. I wanted to see how well I could adapt to something completely outside my usual scope. With support from Shailendra and the team, I stepped into the world of medical admin and got hands-on with everything from transcribing doctor dictations to handling sensitive patient files. I interviewed patients for RAF reports, interpreted hospital data, and compiled detailed medical reports that required accuracy and structure. The pace was different, and so was the environment, but it taught me to work precisely, stay organised, and adapt quickly when expectations shift. It gave me solid experience in medical documentation, stronger data-handling skills, and proof that I could handle myself even outside my comfort zone.
2020
IT Support/ Administrative Assistant
Graphinology (Pty) Ltd
SOUTH AFRICA
This was my first full-time role and honestly, the best crash course I could’ve asked for. From hardware troubleshooting to coordinating schedules and answering phones, I had my hands in everything.
It was here I understood how valuable it is to be adaptable. Whether I was managing files or installing software, I was learning on the go and figuring things out fast. This experience laid the foundation for my problem-solving skills and taught me how to juggle competing priorities without losing my cool.
2020
Freelance IT Support
MapleVille -Private Online Class
SOUTH AFRICA
My first-ever job, and what a way to start. I joined MapleVille during the lockdown chaos, helping students, teachers, and parents navigate remote learning. I configured Teams, troubleshooted connection issues, and ensured that virtual classes could run smoothly.
It felt like I was learning something new every single day. I had to be patient, proactive, and clear in my communication. It was the role that taught me how to explain tech in plain English, a skill that’s helped me tremendously in every job since.

Education
2016 - 2019
Bachelor of Commerce (Business information systems
SOUTH AFRICA
I graduated with a BCom in Business Information Systems from the University of Venda in 2019. The program combines business fundamentals with information technology, covering areas such as systems analysis and design, database management, IT project management, and business process improvement. It gave me a strong foundation in understanding how businesses operate and how technology can be used strategically to solve real-world challenges.
This degree has been instrumental in shaping how I approach problem-solving, process automation, and digital communication across different industries.
